In my current practice, I've created a system in which a single digital design can exist as multiple originals. Translated into a hand-painted prototype, each digital design is then scaled into larger, hand-painted works. These works are generated through variations in color, scale, and/or composition.

Working within a geometric, reductive framework, I build compositions through precisely calibrated color combinations. Each color is developed in relation to those around it, creating shifting visual hierarchies as forms advance, recede, or change emphasis.

Reduction and precision coexist with ambiguity. Just enough information is included to keep perceptions of depth, space, and orientation unresolved.

These paintings reflect a need for structure, sensitivity to color, and a commitment to craftsmanship.
